Direct Hire Juvenile Correctional Licensed Vocational Nurse Role $45 per hour (plus $3.50 shift diff for evening position) in Monroe Township, New Jersey
Clinical Magnet, a division of Icon Medical Network, is looking for a Juvenile Correctional LPN to join our partner's team in Monroe Township, NJ for a part time role.
This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity (not contract).
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with the Registered Nurse to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Effectively interact with patients, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing.
• Performs complete assessments of inmate patients in a variety of settings within the institution such as: initial intake area, health care unit for sick, emergency situations on housing units, chronic care clinics, and medical units
• Performs and documents medical evaluations on inmate patients of the assigned correctional facility consistent with the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) standards of care, NJ 10-A, American Correctional Association (ACA) and Performance Based National Detention Standards (PBNDS) as appropriate
REQUIREMENTS:
• Active, unencumbered LPN licensure in state of practice
• At least 1 year of LPN experience
• Previous correctional health care experience preferred but not required
COMPENSATION and SCHEDULE:
• $45 an hour plus $3.50 shift diff for evening position
• Part time – 16 hours per week with rotating weekends
• Day (6A – 2:30P) and evening (2P – 10:30P) shifts available
