Locum Dentist *119771: Central, Texas
  • Must have an active state license
  • COVID Vaccination required
  • Provider needs to prescribe
  • No CSR needed
  • Certifications required: BLS – American Heart Association, Workmans Comp is required and the provider must secure and pay on their own
  • Background Experience: Corrections preferred, not required – Bread & Butter Dentistry, 1 year FT experience minimum.
  • Credentialing: 7-20 Days
  • Start Date: Upon TDCJ clearance and completion of credentialing
  • Dates: 3 months
  • Work Schedule: 4/8's – Monday – Thursday
  • Call Schedule: NA
  • Outpatient Clinic Setting w/in the facility/prison
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 10-12
  • Staffing Mix: Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, & Possibly Dentist
  • EMR: Pearl
  • Slow paced dentistry, offenders are scheduled daily and then possible walk-ins if an emergency. True emergencies are sent off the facility to the local ER.
