The Opportunity
Join a short-term assignment with the enthusiastic and connected team at a practice, located in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. This is well-suited for a provider who is open, positive, flexible with great communication with team and patients.This position is seeking a provider to assist with exams and emergency visits while maintaining smooth patient flow alongside a supportive and energetic team.
Assignment Details
- Location: Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina
- Temp Position – Medical leave
- Start Date: 6/29/2026
- End Date: 7/24/2026
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hr lunch)

- There are 12 people, including 3-4 hygienists and another doctor. What You’ll Do
- Examining patients to determine oral health needs, utilizing x-rays and other diagnostic equipment and procedures
- Provide exams and emergency dental care in an outpatient setting
- Deliver efficient, patient-focused treatment while maintaining daily workflow
- Assist with leading and supervising office team members
- Staying productive during both slower and busier teams
- Focus on patient experience and support a developing office
- Ideally able to do same day treatment for cash paying patients.
- Temporary provider will be seeing cash patients only
- Maintain accurate documentation and continuity of care
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited program
- Active state dental license
- Prior dental experience required
- Comfortable working independently in developing office
- Clinical knowledge to practice comprehensive dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health issues
- Comfortable handling exams and emergency visits in a fast-paced setting
