- Required:
- BC OBGYN
- Active CO license or IMLC
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring Certification
- Specialty: Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician
- Coverage Dates: Mid-October start date; initial assignment to last 3-4 months (potential to extend if needed). Schedule is built out ~3 months in advance.
- Setting: Hospital – Inpatient
- Shifts/Schedule Expectations: weeknights and weekend coverage. Occasional inpatient dayshifts
- Daily Responsibilities: High-acuity OB Hospitalist procedures/deliveries +OB ED triage +emergent GYN procedures.
- PPD/Census: Estimated: Varies. At night, taking care of 2-4 patients per shift; may be called by OB ED for complicated cases; varies depending on acuity.
- Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: full support staff, OB attending, 3 residents, 5 midwives, 2 CRNAs OB anesthesiologist, nursing staff, etc.
- Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 60-90 Days
