- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 am – 7 pm and 7 am – 3 pm shifts
- Call: 1-2 weeknight call per week; 1:4 weekend call
- Required experience: open and endoscopic vein harvest & chest tube placement
- Preferred active license due to the emergent need to start but will consider licensing
- Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Specialty: Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery APP
- Inpatient, Outpatient or both: Primarily Inpatient
- Target start date and Length of need: ASAP – 3-6 months
- Call Schedule and Call Responsibilities: 1-2 weekday calls/week and 1 in 4 weekends
- Responsibilities include CVSICU post op patient resuscitation, nursing and patient calls from home, weekend inpatient rounding, responding to stat consults/change in clinical status, emergent OR cases.
- Type of patients/cases/procedures required: Cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, MUST be EVH/OVH capable. CVSICU, floor management, inpatient consults, outpatient office coverage.
- Patient Encounters per shift: 10-20
- Available support staff: Surgeons, fellow APCS, nursing
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60+
