- Traditional responsibilities for on call general surgeon. ED Call/Consult, Hospital Call/Consult
- Type of patients/cases/procedures required: appendix, bowel blockages, broken limbs, auto accident victims, victims of crimes. Fall victims, Post op readmissions
- Patient Encounters per shift: possible increase in patient cases during summer tourist season
- Trauma Level: 3
- Available support staff: techs, Advanced Practice Clinicians, Nursing
- Certifications required: Board Certification General Surgery and Life Support
