Assignment Details
- Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Start Date: Ongoing
- Duration: Ongoing coverage need
- Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN; providers able to cover 6-8+ shifts per month are preferred, with an emphasis on nocturnist coverage.
- Physician Shift Options:
- 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Setting: Dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department | Level II Trauma Center

What You'll Do
- Provide emergency care for infants, children, and adolescents in a dedicated pediatric emergency department
- Evaluate and manage a broad range of pediatric medical and traumatic emergencies
- Perform emergency procedures as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with APPs, nursing staff, specialists, and hospital teams to deliver exceptional pediatric care
- Utilize Epic EMR for efficient documentation and patient management
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics with completion of a Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Fellowship
- Active Oklahoma medical license required before credentialing can begin
- Oklahoma DEA and Oklahoma BNDD must be in process before hospital application submission
- Providers able to work 6-8+ shifts per month are strongly preferred, particularly for overnight coverage
