Derek Evers
We’re happy to introduce Derek Evers, our Recruiting Coordinator. Derek grew up on a farm in Sheridan, Oregon, and attended college at Corban University in Salem. After graduating, Derek and his wife moved to Central Washington for a change of pace and to be closer to family. Soon after his Pacific Northwest relocation, Derek joined the ICON team. The transition into his role came naturally as Derek had already experienced the interpersonal aspect of working closely with people and superiors in education, while also assisting in recruitment for his university.
What Derek enjoys most about working for ICON is the people he works with, whether it be the unique and very supportive staff or the wide variety of characters that he interacts with and helps find work for. When he isn’t in the office, he enjoys spending time outdoors, participating in competitive skeet shooting, playing and composing music, as well as playing and watching hockey. Beverly Walling
Meet Beverly Walling – ICON’s first Government Account Manager. Beverly is a Florida native from the Tampa Bay/Clearwater Beach area and moved to the metro Atlanta area in 2004 where she began her career in healthcare staffing.
Before coming to ICON, Beverly worked for several healthcare staffing firms in various roles but found her passion to be helping providers with a heart for serving the underserved find jobs and assisting our active military, Veterans and Native-American populations get access to healthcare they deserve. Beverly’s 15+ years of Government contracting experience was in alignment with ICON’s vision for growth and she is excited to be a part of making this happen.
Outside of the office, Beverly loves to travel and explore new cities and areas, especially if there’s a beach nearby! She enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, kayaking, or anything that involves the water. If you ask her about her ancestors, she has a couple of interesting figures in her family tree.
