Locum Psychiatry Physician * 120353: Coastal, Rhode Island
  • Prefer active RI license BC or truly BE
  • Background Experience: Psychiatry, Consultation Liaison training preferred
  • Credentialing: 60+ days
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Dates: M-F 8a-5p
  • LOA (# of days worked): ASAP – 6 months, target start of August 2024 for 6+ months, ongoing
  • Work Schedule: M-F 8a-5p
  • Call Schedule: Weekend Call every 5 weekends (optional)
  • Inpatient or Outpatient: Inpatient, C/L, ER coverage
  • Patient Volume: 12 pt cap (8 unit, max 4 consults), # of Admits/Discharges per day: average 2-3 inpatient discharges/admissions/day
  • Staffing Mix: NP on inpatient, SW on inpatient
  • EMR: Epic
  • Generally adult 18+, take anyone even geri ages that are relatively independent
  • 50 -50 spread between anxiety/depression/personality disorders and psychotic illnesses- bipolar/schizophrenia/substance induced psychosis
